As days go by, a strange kind of weariness and ennui has set in. Maybe it has to do something with the weather. I had a chance to see JUNO recently and found it a really quirky movie. The humour is pretty nice and a sensitive subject has been tackled in a very subtle manner. It is much better than the other movies playing in the theatres. I hope Indian directors can learn a thing or two from this movie. Indians are still running after pathetic movies and it is true that we get the movies we deserve. But things are improving slowly and surely and young directors offer some hope.
The politicians are out to sell the country and they have already sold their souls. We have to be Positive and make sure that our judgement is not clouded by the divisive agendas of political parties. We need to trust ourselves and keep working hard and do not worry about anything else.

IN PASSING
It has been a mixed kind of weekend for me. A very good Friend has shifted to a new place and I will miss his company. I am also happy that he is getting married soon to a very nice girl. I am in the middle of a dilemma and would have to take some crucial decisions. It can not be helped and I have to trust my instincts and ability. I just want to maitain a cool head and make sure that I act wisely and take a farsighted decision. I invoke Minerva to grant me Wisdom and Peace.

RAMBLINGS
A lot has happened since my last post. There have been a couple of tricky situations and nasty events but I am still standing tall. It is very easy to give up when the chips are down but you have to dig deep and inspire yourself. We have people like Muhammad Ali, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln and our very own Mahatma Gandhi which provide us with inspiration and support. I also owe a lot of gratitude to Atticus Finch and his spirit of doing the right thing. Even though he is a fictitious character he is as powerful and impressive as a real person. People have overcome much tougher situations in life and anyway adversity is the true test of a human being. We have to believe in ourself and stay cool under pressure. The world may try to pull you down but you feel only what you allow yourself to feel. I love everyone and realize the importance of life and its value. I am fortunate to have such nice people around me who have helped me overcome problems. I pray to God for World Peace, Harmony and Happiness of mankind.

TRIBUTE
A great writer has passed away. Arthur C Clarke's writing will always stand out due to his vision and depth. One of the best movies 2001: A Space Odyssey was based on his work and Kubrick directed that great piece of art. He was a pioneer and farsighted enough to think about the things which are still beyond our grasp. We need people and visionaries like him as the world is being run by fools. May his Soul Rest in Peace and he will always be a Guide to all the right thinking and farsighted persons.

MUSINGS
It has been some days since my last post. The world is turning more like a Necropolis every day. But my heart really bleeds for INDIAN Hockey. I felt very bad and we can do a lot better than this. But we will rise like a PHOENIX and prove ourselves. The cricket team did a nice job Down Under but Hockey is still our National game. We all have to be positive and pray for the betterment of Sports and give more regard to our Sports persons.
We all need to cool down and Enjoy life more. Remember no one is going to get out Alive. I may sound a little selfish but at the end of the day we must Enjoy life as it is still the best thing we have got. I wish all of you to Enjoy and take life as it comes. Love everyone and be a nice human being.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
It seems only yesterday that we were playing together and having a great time. I really feel great to have an amazing friend like GAURAV. He is not only a good friend but also a very nice human being. There is no one in the whole world who can be like him. He is such a simple and an easy going person. We have spent a lot of time together and those moments are forever etched in the memory. I really look forward to meeting him soon. Even though he is in Rhode Island, US he is there in my heart. He will go places and wherever he goes he will impress people with his abilities. I am very fortunate to have a FRIEND like him. I wish he comes to INDIA soon as there can not be any better gift than meeting him. GOD BLESS US and OUR FRIENDSHIP and wish him the BEST in everything in LIFE.

COME AS YOU ARE
The third month of this year has already started. At least the OSCARS have gone to deserving artists. Nothing else seems to be going well in the world. America is run by possibly the biggest fool in the history of mankind. And despite many attempts on Castro he is still alive and kicking. He had the guts to stand upto Americans. I hope the future of Cubans will be better. My heart goes out to the people of IRAQ who are suffering without any fault of theirs. We can also not forget the brave people of AFGHANISTAN. I pray to GOD to give relief, peace and prosperity to the brave people in these countries.
